The ASCE Sacramento Section proudly invites everyone to attend the National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark Dedication Ceremony honoring the iconic Donner Summit Tunnel.

There will also be a walking tour following the ceremony for those who are able to join.
The Donner Summit Train Tunnel, an engineering marvel completed in 1867 as part of the first transcontinental railroad, is being recognized for its significant contribution to civil engineering and the American infrastructure history.
Come celebrate this monumental achievement with ASCE members, dignitaries, historians, engineers, and the local community.
