Due to unavoidable site conflicts at the Donner Tunnel, the dedication ceremony has been forced to move to another location which still provides a historical tribute:

The Donner Summit Train Tunnel, an engineering marvel completed in 1867 as part of the first transcontinental railroad, is being recognized for its significant contribution to civil engineering and the American infrastructure history.
Come celebrate this monumental achievement with ASCE members, dignitaries, historians, engineers, and the local community.
